#UKmortgageprisoners
This is a huge day for over 250,000 people.
If the amendment to Cap Margins fails this evening, it not only mean thousands will loose their family homes, it will prove that our democracy is an illusion, because the NO Vote is being controlled by @hmtreasury
Well next two hours is pinnacle moments for @MortgagePrison1@mortgageprison , I do not think the awareness could have been any better and totally deserve a right outcome @Rachelneale10 as given her all and along with team as been inspired to us all. Over to the @HouseofCommons
I’ve had to take the afternoon off work as I am so worked up about today’s vote on amendment 8. I don’t think it’s understood what relief would be brought to over a million people if this amendment passes. Im now pleading with you all to vote yes @Conservatives@UKLabour@LibDems
If amendment 8 is supported today in @HouseofCommons@Conservatives to #captheSVR I would immediately save ££’s a month, this would not only allow me to save for my son’s future but go towards alleviating some of the horrendous stress this scandal has caused over the past decade!
House of Lords has voted in favour of an interest rate cap for some mortgage prisoners... https://t.co/XXF5dQ6Sdr
While it will be tough to get the Commons to enact it against Govt wishes, at the very least it ramps up pressure for govt to provide alternative solutions at speed
@mortgageprison@Conservatives@JohnGlenUK Today is your chance to end over 10 years of misery for hundreds of thousands of mortgage prisoners, trapped because YOU sold off our mortgages to non-lending Vulture Funds. You MUST vote yes on Amendment 8.
#UKmortgageprisoners I've barely slept with worry. If they only knew what a difference the cap on SVR would mean to me,my family and others!Ididn't put my self in this postion, the @Conservatives party did, when they sold it for a pittance to Cerberus.
Put right what u did wrong!!
