Our institute, the Institute of #Physiology @Medizin_TUD @tudresden_de, is hiring a W2 #professor of physiology. Research focus are areas of #metabolism and #metabolicdiseases (e.g. neuronal control of metabolism, organ crosstalk, or mechanisms of related vascular complications).

This is it! My 1st day as director and chair of physiology @Medizin_TUD, following the symbolic handover of the key by Prof. Deußen, who filled this position as a true role model and mentor for >25yrs. A huge honor to step into his shoes and take over a great institute and team.
