@AxleHellfire I usually just go with “pre-land” and “post-land” tests. I’ve found the term CI to be confusing partly for this reason — these are distinct phases with different trade offs (ie: pre might prioritize for fast feedback loops while post prioritizes comprehensiveness).
@jwwweber I’m a sucker for a John Williams composed credit sequence. My favorite: https://t.co/7RwIUFSRYB (thanks for motivating my soundtrack for today’s work!)
@fivetanley https://t.co/A7oVAhKdUv these chairs are armless so at first glance they look harmless, but those bars on the side make the usable seat very small with wider hips (I usually sit sideways to use them)
Haven’t written code in a while and got a hankering to play with modern Ember. I did what I’m sure everyone else is doing: made an open source Wordle Clone! https://t.co/Qa3gWlWpeH …test it out at https://t.co/rooY0yeVmk
@sugarpirate_ This is precisely how I started my career in engineering — it was a phenomenal way for me to learn because of the instant feedback. Love this!
"Docendo discimus", or, "by teaching, we learn".
With Ember Octane only weeks away from being stable, isn't this a great time to present at Ember NYC? 😉
We're booking one more slot for October 24th at Movable Ink, and looking for speakers throughout the fall 👩🏫
So I put a bit of work into a thing that I'm rather pleased with. https://t.co/QrTCWdgCQV is meant to be a guide that is the start of what I imagine guides should be like for JS Engineers- something to bridge the gaps between design and implementation at scale. #EmberJS
