@SamLee Is it possible this is just to get some leverage in the contract talks? Putting pressure on the club? Feels a bit of a switch up from how he usually conducts himself, but maybe that’s just me being naive.
@StevenMcinerney This doesn’t acknowledge the injuries we’ve had either. And I don’t actually see Arsenal getting better after this season. So although I don’t want to see them win the league (or anything for that matter) I think him staying the 2 years will actually be more beneficial longterm.
@Telstar22995931@SkySportsPL I was being sarcastic, everyone calls city “lil city” “noisy neighbors” who have no fans and no one cares about them yet somehow the PL is favoring calls for them while simultaneously pursuing a 115 charge case against them?… Are you crazy?
@Telstar22995931@SkySportsPL I though City weren’t a “Big Club”. Funny how the posts always shift to fit the narrative. Why on earth would the PGMOL who are investigating City would also be intentionally favoring calls for them.
@City_Zone_ You think Trafford is feeling sorry for himself? Seems to me he’s a hungry and a competitive professional who sees this as an opportunity to reach the next level. If he’s the best it won’t matter if it’s Ederson, Donarruma, any keeper, that’s how you become the best.
@InvertTheWing@Annoymous657748 Right, and he has the opportunity to claim the no. 1 spot anytime this year and next. That what professional athletes do they compete, and the best of the best on the best teams will rise to the top. Starting is not guaranteed to anyone. Mahrez got benched after bagging a hatty.
@barlowjacob Trafford was never going to be no. 1 in the first place it was always meant to be a transitional year. In reality Trafford is to replace Ortega. Donarruma is to replace Ederson (if it happens). If Ederson stays he gets the majority starts regardless.
@SheikhMCI It must be a huge offer but even so it doesn’t make any sense. 1. Daniel Levy is a cheapskate who especially hates city. 2. Why are we moving on from a 21 yr old after 1 year?
@StevenMcinerney Don’t like it unless he asked to leave (doubt it). To move on from him after 1 year where everyone had a subpar year feels odd. Does that mean we are giving the RW to Bobb? Does that mean we bring in Rodrygo? (Doubtful, plus he wants to play on the right).
@StevenMcinerney Same Arsenal fans that say they’ve won the community shield when people press them about not winning anything in years will also say “we don’t care about a tin cup trophy”
