Just sharing my perspective as someone who’s been through the VA claims process.

Fraud should absolutely be investigated and prosecuted. The real disrespect isn’t veterans who receive benefits they’ve earned, I t’s the people who lie, fabricate evidence, or otherwise steal benefits they aren’t entitled to. They hurt taxpayers, undermine trust in the system, and make it harder for veterans with legitimate service-connected disabilities.

Many veterans spend years fighting for valid claims, filing appeals and submitting additional evidence before finally being approved. Hold fraudsters accountable, but don’t assume everyone receiving VA benefits is one of them.
