@geagbuffalo @joshofthunder @clhubes This! I should be able to live where I grew up, but if I had to start from scratch I would not be able to. My dad bought our family home in 1976 for $50k. At the time I believe he was making around $40k.

@ambernoelle I still think about the time I went to Switzerland on a ski trip. Not exactly known for their cuisine but the food was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed all kinds of treats. I came back 10 days later and 7 lbs lighter.

@emmalovesdinos @KendallRaeOnYT I spent the entire ride shifting from the ball of one foot to the other and kept getting thrown around. I could have gotten thrown from under the shoulder restraint. I can’t imagine making a kid do something similar. It’s just dumb.

@emmalovesdinos @KendallRaeOnYT I’m also a shorter adult (4’10”) and I barely made the height limit for a stand up coaster. It was the most uncomfortable ride ever because my legs were too short to properly straddle the bar “seat.”

@EliSeitz10 @JennMGreenberg I was 15, in Paris on a school trip. Bought a chicken sandwich from a street vendor. So simple: baguette, smear of butter, succulent bites of perfectly roasted chicken. I still dream of that sandwich 35 years later.
