Anyone who says they’d heard of Isak, Bruno, Tonali, Botman and Thiaw before we signed them is talking shite. The track record of signing “nobodies” recently has been class, the worst signings have been “PL proven” players. Don’t know why people are worried about these younguns.

A few friendly reminders as we head into GCSE results time:

1) Grades 1-3 are a pass
2) They are a level 1 GCSE
3) A U is a fail. Grades 1-3 are not.

For some students, grades 1-3 are a huge achievement. Do not denigrate their achievements by labelling them as failures.
