“Do you remember the man in the hymn who prays like this:
The ruins of my soul repair
And make my heart a house of prayer?
A man who offers that prayer from his heart will find it answered in Christ.”
Just as a heads up to everyone today, you don’t have to qualify love and thankfulness for your country with a list of every bad thing she’s done.
You don’t go to your mom’s birthday party and list all of her faults before giving her a gift. You can just celebrate sometimes.
@rustyrockets You're flawed, too. Find a little church with a faithful minister who will feed you and himself from the Word of God, which by the Holy Spirit is conforming all His people to the image of Christ. It can be hard, but it's your job.
@jaredhmoore@KevinPinball Things like that remind us that we are sinful, if we need reminding. They should cause us to turn to Christ. We don't need to panic, Christ knows who we are and Who He is. There will come a day when we'll be free from our fallen minds producing thoughts like this.
@presbycast When they said there would be a sequel to TPoC, I was thinking, well, I guess they could do one for every time the mass was performed, huh? Still might, if the franchise takes off, I suppose.
