This is what 77M ppl voted for. And there will be no lessons learned here. There will be no great awakening where GOP voters realize they’ve been duped. Bc the unfortunate truth is the GOP has found a winning message that they can trot out election after election until the end of time. Which is: no matter how bad things are for you, we’re going to make sure we make things worse for *them*. The *them* being non white ppl, LGBT, poor people, women. Demographics that are already resented so all they have to do is tap into that resentment that’s already there. Everyday living expenses becoming more expensive for everyone is fine with them as long as they know ppl who they view as underneath them are being hit harder than theyre being hit. Anyone who still believes the fairy tale notion that America is a nation where we will unite and band together to lift the least fortunate amongst us up is being naive. That is not who we are. At all.
I talk a lot about the Saints needing to clean up the cap, but their trading process in the Draft is the worst in the NFL and is absolutely the primary culprit for their last 4 seasons.
It's hard to win when you punt away, on average, the #32 pick in trade value each year.
The only player in #NFL history since tackles were recorded (1987) to have 100+ tackles, 2+ sacks, and 4+ forced fumbles through the first 12 games of a season.
