@pwharris Because I have listened to the podcast while working on my numeracy, I immediately saw this in terms of money — one nickel plus 3 quarters. So that’s 80 cents = 80/100 (80 pennies) or 8/10 (8 dimes). If we had 20 cent pieces it could be represented as 4/5 of those.
