Welcome to #BCAN11 the “24/7 surveillance show” where someone is able to hide illegal materials for weeks without production knowing.
Just shut it all down. This is embarrassing.
@SouthwestAir is basically holding people hostage at OAK.
Been waiting 6hrs+ for flights that are delayed but not canceled. If they cancel our flight, they will give us back our luggage. But since it’s only “delayed” they won’t return bags.
I JUST WANNA LEAVE THE AIRPORT.
"The railroads can afford to give their workers paid leave and hire more staff to ensure the stability of their operations... But that would require the railroads’ owners to accept a cut in their passive income."
@greenhousenyt “Today the railroads tell us they are still having a hard time recruiting and retaining workers and try to blame this on the ‘Great Resignation. The fact is the railroad’s personnel practices made these jobs much less desirable.”

@ByBattleground "When railroads try to excuse their failures by pointing to labor shortages at other businesses, those other businesses did not enter the pandemic having stripped themselves of nearly 20% of the workforce in recent years."

@repdinatitus As one of your constituents: stand with rail workers and DONT STOP THE STRIKE.
Rail execs are understaffing the rails which coincidentally leads to higher profits (inflation) and unsafe working conditions (a strike). Siding with them fixes NONE of NV’s problems.
Take it from someone who works a corporate media job in data analytics: your clicks are more impactful than your money or your vote.
Be intentional, if not radical, with your attention.
Another example: Mainstream media editors regularly use #GoogleTrends data to determine their news coverage. So searching "Qatar Slavery" or "World Cup homophobia" signals to editors that they should produce more articles on these topics.
@MorePerfectUS Can assure you that this merger will create larger than a measly 13% market share in Las Vegas
Most of our grocers are either Albertsons or Kroger in disguise, a merger would push their local market share well up past 50% here.
@WSJ In Las Vegas our two most commonly competing grocery stores are Albertsons and Smith’s (by Kroger).
Together, they’re gonna have a near-monopoly of a metro area of 2 million people.
Please stop this merger.

@hankgreen Here’s a thought...
when billionaire text chains read like irresponsible high schoolers planning their senior prom,
maybe they shouldn’t be gifted a separate justice system that coddles them like children
seems to only make our problems worse. 🤷
