My brother is a pastor and used to host evangelist at his mid sized church. He doesn't any longer after a number of them were exposed with disqualifing since. I every case these men drank and swore. I recognize my own sinful nature and don't want to remain "alert and sober minded". Also my father in-law was an alcoholic. Want to be an example for my boys. I wasn't familiar with SEER, but I now understand why this data might differ from the HCUP Hospital Inpatient Sample. The NIS only captures inpatient admissions where a patient is formally admitted and spends at least one night. There are a number of other reasons why it would not accurately capture what's actually happening.
