I hate the fact that Twitter is so pro-eugenics now. Yes, they do deserve to live. Look at them, they can grow up and even have healthy kids. They deserve love and care if they survive.
If they die at birth, then that’s it, but they can’t just be killed over nothing.
i used to think todo not asking this was weird but then i realized like . he didnt ask mahito it whatsoever so he kind of lost that gimmick halfway through the series
“What if this MRNA curable illness that .0000001% of the population deals with happens? Then you must let me abort my baby if he looks weird on the ultrasound”
i get the eugenist argument, and i'm not in principle against negative eugenics, but where do you draw the line?
if Down Syndrome is ok, what about low IQ? what about autism? do you murder only severely autistic kids or also functioning ones?
if "drain on society" is your discerning principle per execution, do you murder anyone who is getting any sort of social benefit?
in the US only ~30-40% of households are net contributors and ~60-70% are net recipients, or a "drain on society".
do you want to execute >70% of society?
Chilling with my daughter and she was getting me to draw stuff for her.
"Draw Santa"
I drew Santa.
"Draw me"
I drew her.
"Draw me getting a present from Santa"
I drew exactly that.
"Now draw Sadie getting a present from Santa"
I drew it.
"Now draw a cow getting a present from Santa"
I said "What? Why do you wa-"
"DRAW A COW GETTING A PRESENT FROM SANTA"
> Most deaths occur during childbirth, with most individuals who made it after that growing into healthy adults thanks to NICU and oral retinoid medications
> Their mental development isn’t hindered by their condition
> You’re still willing to euthanise them
You’re a monster.
@metalure depends on the phrase,
"will that be all sir?" -> common phrase, just my brain cooking up some bullshit
"it's me, dude, I'm the unborn aztec king" -> pledge your allegiance, start saving up money for the royal pilgrimage
This little baby, happily kicking tiny feet and wiggling around, is no longer living because the parents believe an extra chromosome makes you unworthy of life.
