I guess in other news I miss when my kids were younger and texts to Santa resulted in better behavior. 😘 But we have very much spoiled this dog, and she thinks she is a bebe, so she maybe feels the pressure.

My dog had been dry hacking for over an hour. The assumption was she maybe ate a decoration (she has eaten rocks before) mid hack I caught her face in the bag of xmas presents, so I told her I was going to cancel xmas for her. (she howled). So I did what any sane person would do

I "called Santa" 🧐she was very concerned while I was on the phone to Santa and was howling at me, anyway "Santa" said as long as she behaves she will still get presents, and she has been hack free and on her best behavior ever since. Coincidence? Maybe. But come on. Merry Xmas

I know this is a complex issue and I am not an ethicist …but I am mortified that we would approve MAiD for mental illness in Canada before we would approve comprehensive publicly-funded access to mental healthcare.
