@talecrafter That's cool. Been building something a little like that myself. There's definitely a fine balancing act to be had on feedback but better to have it than not! Are you considering doing that for the early access version for everyone?
@pacmannlover@Kynseed@MrMatthewAllen What may be different your end is whether you happen to have the directx end-user runtimes from MS as these provide some legacy drivers that might be required in our case. The following link should help:

Added some functionality with table editing today that I was quite happy with. Pressing alt brings up a list of possible options to pick from as a stand in for dropdown. Trait names changed to protect the innocent. Got a similar setup for item ratings #gamedev#indiedev
Very basic setup on editing character sprites in editor to handle more player customisation. At present 500 frames per character and 4 models to consider so needed to make it easier to iterate on! How it looks ingame vs different backgrounds to test next. #indiedev#wipwednesday
Got a bit done today on this ingame logging setup for Kynseed. Quite handy filtering for tracking down issues (using 3 mouse buttons to toggle on/off/just selected/not selected). Slowly adding more events to track as the need arises... #indiedev#gamedev
Just been back on the addictive one more go game that is Geometry Wars 2 pacifism mode. I dunno if it is the brutal harshness or just the need to reach for a higher score that always seem possible. Or maybe it's a level deeper in trying to find out why it is so damn compelling!
#coding#visualstudio In VS2017 sorely wish Find All References (default shortcut = shift+f12) had an option to group together where a variable is operated on vs just getting the value.
Been starting to actually write brief documents about features as I work on them detailing Info/Limitations/Debug/Code Setup/Improvements. Hoping that helps me organise a bit more with all the context switching stretching my memory a bit too far. #indiedev
Yesterday's game process improvement. Loot table picker shows not only the locations of items but also other loot tables they exist in. Handy for checking what is already placed in the game now we are firmly in the double digits of locations and loottables! #indiedev
Struck upon a new meta for my todo task lists today. Including basic programming conditions in them. Eg. If TIME before <VAR1> THEN do task else MOVE till tomorrow. If I get around to making a third todo app I might actually code that in :)
Just offscreen in the top of frame is that I've been working on an xml file that was 146k lines now reduced to 101k lines thinking it might speed the allsprites load (it hasn't really made a noticeable effect oddly)๐ค Looks like I might need binary data loading instead...
Strangely fun sunday coding I've been putting together a little profiling tool in the game which is feeding my sudden optimisation addiction. Now to just make it save profile runs, compare them and show per update frame breakdowns... #monogame#gamedev
Oh my, just discovered 'Create From Usage' from VA for C#. My process of adding extra values to enums now is down to the key combo shift+alt+c instead of having to copy/f12 to find definition/paste/format. Saves about 4 secs of coding. Massive optimisation party today ๐ฅณ
