@PrimeHomestead@GoldieLocks1776 How precious. It looks like the drawing is Isabelle watching over little sis, and I would not be surprised at all if that was indeed what's happening.
@corgimom51@lotusrosekat@Knesix I really think it is a hoax. His original claim to fame was a fictional storyline about his dad. I think they made up the whole pregnancy. I bet he thought that the controversy would help generate attention, but perhaps didn't expect such a massive backlash.
@nosoup4knowles@maistomedia Yep. I really don’t think any of this is real. He just wanted attention and knew that this pregnancy “storyline” would bring lots of attention.
@C_Nick84@maistomedia I’m pretty sure that they made this whole thing up because they wanted attention and knew this would go viral. I doubt that there was ever a real baby.
@Neurofluoresce Yes, it is appalling how many ignorant people are out there. Disabled people can live meaningful and happy lives. Your life matters, and so does the life of my daughter with special needs.
@NKY_Leftist@sparticus676 If Israel feels that Palestinians are living difficult lives of suffering, then by your logic they are really doing them a favor.
@djneyoru Allow me to introduce you to Rainbow Pro-Life:
https://t.co/xlofyjqTBK
They started out many years ago as a group of LGBT pro-lifers who were concerned abortion would indeed be used to eliminate gay people if a gay gene was discovered.
@catholiccom Thank you for reminding people of this. It’s worth noting that the AMA president defended the practice of allowing born infants to die of neglect as a “private decision” between the family and the doctor, much like we see with abortion.
@Just_ebube I would like to gently suggest being open to the possibility that if God did bring a disabled child into your life that it is for a purpose. Consider the story from John 9.
@ZELLKLUMPEN I think any other kid they have is going to have a rough life being raised by self-absorbed influencers who might just be honest to God psychopaths, so…yeah, hard to get excited about the possibility of more kids for them.
@vitusss_ I do in fact have a kid who is “mentally disabled”. It’s not what you think it is. Kids with disabilities are still just kids, not life-destroying monsters to fear.
@vitusss_ That post is about autism, not DS. There is NO way to screen for autism prenatally, so abortion would not have prevented this. If you can’t handle the thought of possibly having a child with autism or another surprise disability, probably best to not have kids at all.
@voiceofgeraldo@xthemasterand I am not convinced that there was even a real pregnancy. I am suspicious he made this up as rage bait to get clicks. He has made up stories about his dad before.
@Ilerioluwakiye_ Part of the problem here is that Down syndrome is not what you think it is. Most people with Down syndrome are not “profoundly” disabled and do not need “intensive” care. Many live independently or with a little help from family.
@BlayzeKarp@Ilerioluwakiye_ People with intellectual disabilities do in fact continue to learn new things even as adults. How many people have you actually known with an IQ of 40?
