@owmynose Hats off to you, this was extremely enjoyable in no small part to your brilliant editing! I sincrely hope you team up with @LCOLONQ for more fun Emacs and Elisp adventures.
I love #tmux so much! The new display-popup feature is amazingly cool, especially when used with the #fzf fuzzy finder. Huge shout out to Nicholas Marriott (nicm) for all his hard work! I just now sponsored him on @github, and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was.
Now available on MELPA: "Clipetty", my first #Emacs package, that uses the magic of ANSI OSC 52 escape sequences to insert stuff you kill in TTY frames into your Operating System's clipboard!

If you want to know why I love Emacs so much, here's an amazing tour showing how you can write a technical blog / documentation using Emacs and org-mode

@xenotrope Omg, I had a great time too! I also loved, loved, loved the "My Own Private Binary" talk from @BR903 this year. Looking forward to next year!
I gave a talk at #SeaGL2019 this weekend entitled "Consistent Technical Documents Using Emacs and Org Mode." The talk sadly didn't get recorded, but I did make a YouTube video with all the content. Enjoy!

@simon_mott You're running iperf, and I'm running iperf3. We're both using TCP. On the client side to get the 620Mbit/s I'm running it like: "perf3 -c <ip behind ER4> -R -P8" -- using all cores on my Linux i7 box, reversing traffic (ER4 encrypts). https://t.co/l7bk7aconf <-- lots of details
@simon_mott Enjoyed your article on ER4 benchmarking! I'm doing same, but with an ER4 (aes128-sha1) to a core i7 linux box. Results: 622 Mbit/s (3 cores 99% softirq, 1 65% si) encrypting, but only 241 Mbit/s decrypting! (1 core 100% si, 2 cores ~20-30% si, 1 core idle) weird huh?
This story about the economics on a popular Minecraft server circa 2013 is one of the best stories I’ve read all year. It’s a long read, but utterly worth it if you’re at all interested in Minecraft or multiplayer video games in general.
