🚨 Big win for Temple Worshippers of Tamil Nadu!
Hon'ble Division Bench of Madras High Court (G.R.Swaminathan & V.Lakshminarayanan, JJ.) delivered a landmark order in my PIL https://t.co/RCFLYJGyA8. 20764/2026 concerning Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple, Triplicane —
but this ruling lays down principles for ALL Hindu temples in TN under @tnhrcedept. 🧵
1️⃣ NO MORE @tnhrcedept Executive Officer DOUBLING AS "FIT PERSON" IN TEMPLES AS A ROUTINE POSTING!
The Court held an Executive Officer can act as "Fit Person" only in exceptional circumstances, for a very brief interim duration. Temple administration must vest in the Board of Trustees — not remain permanently with a government official wearing two hats. Such dual-role arrangements "ought to be terminated at the earliest."
2️⃣ EOs HAVE NO SAY IN RELIGIOUS MATTERS —
This is a superb victory for Hindus !
Under the proviso to Sec.45(2), HR&CE Act, the word "only" is significant: an EO's power is confined STRICTLY to temple properties (movable & immovable, incl. income).
"An area even slightly tinged with religious elements is a no-go zone for the Executive Officer" — pujas, Kumbhabishekam dates/timings, customs & traditions cannot be touched by EOs.
3. The Govt's Learned Addl. Advocate General fairly conceded that trustees will be appointed for Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple within 6 months.
Government has also called for applications from Hindus to be appointed as Trustees. A positive move by Hon'ble Minister @RameshOffcl
Finally, the Fraudulent set up of @tnhrcedept 's illegally appointed Executive Officer - also serving as the Sole Trustee (Fit Person) of the temple for more than 40 years comes to an END.
A real step towards temples run by Trustees, not bureaucrats — and the State kept out of religious affairs. 🙏
My gratitude to my counsel Advocate Niranjan Rajagopalan @niranjanlaw !

CJP’s Rajasthan Propaganda Exposed
In March 2026, Rajasthan’s Bhajan Lal government prepared submitted a ₹12,000 crore master plan to the High Court for the renovation of schools across the state. There was no CJP involvement at that time.
This month, CJP started its school campaign. Ashutosh Ranka, who himself is from Jaipur, told them that if they launch their campaign in Rajasthan, they would get maximum publicity because the state was going to renovate the schools anyway under the March master plan.
Today they visited the Government Primary School in Rampura-Kanwarpura village, which is actually a suburb of Jaipur.
The reason this particular school was selected has an interesting backstory. The school roof was in poor condition, and during the monsoon the school was temporarily shifted to a gaushala. Local BJP MLA Kailash Verma had already sanctioned ₹12 lakh for the repair work, which was supposed to start soon.
Fraudster Ashutosh planned that they would go there, take pictures and videos, and then claim credit once the repair work began.
Local people realised his dirty politics and did not allow him to stage his drama. Ashutosh’s goons started pushing the local people, and the rest of the story is known to everyone.
I also live in Jaipur and can tell you that this fraud Ashutosh Ranka never raised any issue related to education in the past. Nineteen papers were leaked during Ashok Gehlot’s tenure, yet he never spoke about it. He is a complete conman like his guru Kejriwal

Koodalmanikyam Update - An Example of Why Temples Should be Freed from the Clutches of the Government
Over the past 6 weeks, the Hon'ble Kerala High Court while hearing our petition on mismanagement prevalent in Koodalmanikyam Devaswom Board has exposed the glaring but often ignored fact that Government administration of temples is a complete failure.
July 17: The Administrator couldn't produce a single record for audit objection pending since 1990. According to his affidavit, old papers were "lost in floods," new ones "can't be produced." The bench snapped: "You keep saying you don't have anything. You are a senior officer but you don't seem good enough for the job." The court dismissed Devaswom's digitization software as inadequate and questioned its competence outright.
July 29: The Commissioner filed an affidavit through his Joint Secretary instead of appearing. The court noted "no one seems to take responsibility" and observed the Commissioner is too busy being the Commissioner of Guruvayur Devaswom & Revenue Secretary, to care about Koodalmanikyam. The affidavit was termed "vague."
August 20: The case was tagged with another petition about audit irregularities in Cochin Devaswom Board. The court admitted "all devaswom boards seem to have financial issues" while noting that all these temple boards with crores of revenue are yet to adopt digital maintenance of accounts, something which a salon with 20 lakhs annual turnover is doing nowadays. The court also warned a decision on, "whether the wheel needs to be reinvented", a clear hint at scrapping the entire government-controlled structure, post digitization of records, through evaluation of the pending audit objections and its associated material.
This is precisely why the Free Temples Movement demands liberation from state control. Political appointees loot, mismanage, and disrespect our heritage. Devotee administration model works better in these aspects as seen in Chidambaram, Udupi, Dharmasthala etc. Hence it's time to Dissolve these government boards in temples and free them from the clutches of bureaucratic mismanagement.

Who funds Ashutosh Ranka?
Here is the answer.
He is working at Kinaura Partners (formerly Global Health Vision)
They allowed his protest work on the ground.

I took the Chennai Metro for the first time, because I was forced. I was stuck in massive traffic jams on the way to the airport, now common in Chennai - ironically due to metro construction.
I had to get to the airport in 30 mins, or I'd miss the flight. I checked Maps- 41 mins by road, 21 mins by Metro. Obvious decision.
I bought a QR ticket on Paytm and jumped on the metro at Saidapet. Brand new, squeaky clean train and polite travellers. So it was easy to travel with a trolley bag.
Every departure and station was tracked live on Maps to the minute. I found this integration really useful.
And when I reached the airport station, I was delighted to find it connected directly to the terminals through travellators.
It took me straight to a Digiyatra Gate, dedicated to metro travellers. Super convenient!
Needless to say, I didn't miss my flight. And I'm happy to write this review about the Chennai Metro, which I now recommend to everyone visiting the city.
