@leg_gully@kushansarkar@CricSubhayan Dada himself was advisor to DC before BCCI prez stint. Assuming he needs clearance (would have received it) or else would be dumb to announce otherwise
🥊 Suchika Tariyal created history by winning India’s first MMA medal at the Asian Games, but behind the bronze was a campaign marred by alleged administrative lapses that left her and fellow fighter Varun Sanyal without regular access to their coaches and forced them to manage crucial weight cuts largely on their own.
👉For Sanyal, the ordeal ended before he could enter the ring. The 27-year-old collapsed while cutting weight alone and was subsequently declared medically unfit.
👉Speaking exclusively to The Free Press Journal, Sanyal detailed a troubled campaign in Aichi-Nagoya that he said involved a 30-hour journey, accreditation problems, coaches being denied access to the athletes and the difficulties of preparing for competition without adequate support.

@pure_singh@Eighty7_Fifty8 That’s a good question. If I’m honest I was just pretty bad in discus. If we keep everything the same and just add a couple meters to disc I’d be sitting at 8k. It’s just that there were no standout events this time around. It’s a good problem to solve next year 😊
“Want my Ashes to be scattered at the Oval Maidan at 8am when the sun is up & many games of cricket are underway.
For those who make the journey, return a little later, when Oval Bar is open & drink a beer knowing that I have frequented this bar at many happy occasions" ❤️
Just want to stand up for @pdevendra & give him a massive shoutout here. One of the best reporters of this generation & a journalist who’s broken most stories that matter in Indian cricket over the last 15 years. Respect. Was a privilege to call him a colleague for a decade
Neeraj Chopra has nothing left to prove, but his biggest achievement is that it's 1.30 a.m. now and most of India is up and in front of their TVs watching a sport that's not cricket.
This is the most hurt I've been because of a sport. Nothing even comes close not even 19th nov. I'd be willing to sacrifice another world cup just to see her play the final.
For all those screaming for the removal of Deepika Kumari, a multiple World Cup winner and Commonwealth gold medalist because of her Olympic showing, I have the perfect solution.
Get out there, start practicing and replace her in the Indian line up. She was selected because she was good enough, not because somebody liked her face or her parents bribed the selectors.
She's doing her best, and it doesn't always work. If you think she isn't good enough, shoot yourself, or find someone who shoots better than her.
Watching England scrape through those games was so annoying man but the thing about being a hater is you need a lot of patience, patience is very bitter but the fruit is so so sweet
i need yall to understand that the media loves kante because they believe this is how all black should be. humble, out of the way and living a very simple life. it is rooted in racism
