Look at this guy.
• He delivered pizzas at Pizza Hut
• Dropped out of uni
• Sold supplements out of his parents' garage
Now, he's worth $1.3 Billion—at 31.
The story of the youngest billionaire you've never heard of:
If you've ever thought to yourself "How did this person get that job?? I know I could do better than them!" It's time to reconsider your approach.
I shared my thoughts on @Forbes on how you can stand out in the competitive tech market today:

Lululemon founder, Chip Wilson, has a staggering net worth of $10 billion 🤯
In this clip, he shares the company's AMAZING origin story and explains how a disability helped him build the 'athleisure' empire
At 32 year old, Wilson was diagnosed w/ a rare type of muscular dystrophy making it difficult for him to walk - this led him to try yoga which helped relieve his back pain
While doing yoga, he came up w/ the idea to make stylish and functional yoga apparel for women using a fabric that would "make their butts look good"
After selling his skateboarding & snowboarding apparel company for a modest amount, Wilson set his sights on creating yoga apparel targeting young professional women
In 1997, after some initial struggles and experimentation, Wilson leased space for his first store in Vancouver Canada
He shared the space w/ local yoga instructors at no cost to them on the condition that they help sell Lululemon's products to their students - this strategy would prove to be instrumental in helping Lululemon take off
At the end of 2022, Lululemon is one of the most successful apparel companies in the world and the 2nd largest company only behind Nike in its category
Wilson himself is widely credited for being the creator of the 'athleisure' trend
I highly recommend this clip for any entrepreneur looking for an inspirational story and urge people to watch the full interview w/ Tony Robbins

@darrenmarble Many are questioning it, but most need the structure that a formal educational institution provides, and it’s going to take time for alternatives to gain the credibility needed to become serious options.
@CindyBiSV Yes, the best founders can. The problem is when people give feedback in a prescriptive way that makes a founder defensive and makes the person giving the feedback lose credibility.
In many ways, after just a few million in ARR, your job as CEO is to maintain momentum
With:
- better management
- fuel (capital)
- innovation (features)
- more awareness (marketing)
And so you should obsess about any early signs of losing it
You’ll see it before others do
@steviemctweets This is a great list. One caveat is that some investors like to ask for a data room after one meeting as a next step. Unless you're further in the diligence process and you feel like an investor is serious, I definitely would not send all of this information to just any investor.
100% of 0 is 0 is what any VC will tell you to convince you that you need their money.
What they don't tell you is that the same principle applies when they push you to burn through all your money to try to get to unicorn status when you should have just taken that $50M offer.
