@RayDalio Few missing points-
*China's demographic challenges
*Debt & property-sector problems

Most relationship fights come from this:
We overrate what we give and underrate what others give.
Itโs like a seesawโboth sides feel heavier from their own seat.
Try this tonight: name 3 things your partner does that you usually overlook. Gratitude beats power struggles.
Trump went to Alaska to convince Putin of the need for an immediate ceasefire. But he came out of Alaska having been convinced that what is needed is a comprehensive peace agreement, not a mere ceasefire--this has been the Russian position since at least April 2024. Trump also realises that it is not in his powers to end the war immediately. Contrary to what American and British media tell you, he has practically no leverage over the Russians. The sanctions card has been exhausted. The Russians are winning in the battlefield despite massive Nato help for Ukraine. Secondary sanctions were an option--but secondary sanctions against China would be economically counterproductive as the Chinese have a lot of leverage, particularly in rare earth; secondary sanctions against India could drive India close into their cooperation with Russia, and complicate America's own Indo-Pacific strategy. That's why Trump sent Witkoff to Moscow before his secondary sanctions deadline, and then met Putin in Alaska. He now says more sanctions are not needed has he has had a "great meeting" with Putin.
He has considerable leverage over Ukraine, but Zelensky, Europe and sections of America's establishment are against ending the war with concessions to Russia. Europe believes continuing to support Ukraine to continue to fight Russia is better than accepting the hard reality on the battlefield--which would leave the Russians stronger. So Trump's pressure space is limited. That's why he is now passing the baton to Zelensky, saying it's up to him to end the war. And he has already ruled out two things--Ukraine is not going to get Crimea back, and Ukraine is never going to be a member of NATO (everybody knew this, But Nato, Europe and Ukraine's leadership would never admit this). What remains is the status of the four oblasts Russia has annexed -- the best deal Ukraine can get, as things stand now, is to freeze the war along the frontline in the east and south and get some territories back in the northeast (Kharkiv). If the war proceeds, it's highly likely that Ukraine would lose more land. Let's see what happens in DC today.
Bitcoin will hit $1,000,000 and it doesnโt matter. People have missed the point.
Bitcoin is going parabolic. Euphoria has set in.
Weโve just crossed the $100K USD high. From here we typically see a 2x-3x in price.
The wild price predictions of $1M per Bitcoin arenโt crazy at all.

Last week, I received an emergency text message from my bank.
I nearly pissed my pants. My face went red. โRed alert: possible fraud. Inbound call in 60 seconds.โ
The text message sounded like a scam. But my bank actually did call. They sounded very worried. The stress quickly went away. They noticed a transaction on my account.
Iโd bought $10,000 of Bitcoin.
โMr Denning, sir, we need to ask you some urgent questions.โ
They then interrogated, intimidated, and harassed me for half an hour for buying Bitcoin. Whatโs unique about this situation is theyโd done this 8 other times in the last 6 months.
I quickly became angry with the bank guy on the phone.
โSir, I can go to the ATM and withdraw my life savings, then go to the local casino and gamble the lot on red and nobody from the bank calls me. How come you donโt make an emergency call to me then?โ
Silence.
I told the banker what I knew. The bank was only calling me because if they donโt warn me about investing in Bitcoin, then if I lose money theyโre liable.
The bank was calling to cover themselves. Typical. After all these phone calls from my bank, I finally cracked it.
I told the bank I was leaving & withdrew all my money minutes later.
Some parts of society still donโt understand Bitcoin, so they simply treat it like a criminal activity due to their lack of understanding.
What they should be doing is getting an education so they donโt get left behind.
If you meet someone who is negative about Bitcoin, remember: they donโt understand it.

Bitcoin used to be an asset you speculate on.
It was fun. It had a story. It was a cult. In recent times everything has changed and most people still donโt get it.
All of us earn money in our countryโs currency. If we keep our wealth in that currency then itโll be eroded away by inflation and currency devaluation.
This will happen slowly so you wonโt notice it right away.
In fact many people never notice.
We give up our time to work. That creates value. We then need to store that value for future consumption.
To understand the problem you just have to look at pension funds, VCs, angel investors, mutual funds, banks. They have one job โ get you a return on your money in exchange for a fee.
If they donโt make you money, you take your money off them.
Itโs getting harder to make a return on financial assets.
After you factor in taxes and inflation, thereโs often not much left over. Many investment firms arenโt even keeping up with inflation.
Everyone in finance is chasing a financial return for their clients.
If youโre an individual whoโs made a bit of money (like I have), you have the same problem. You need a place to store your money and make a return on it.
The traditional options just donโt work well.
โข Stocks are tied to countries.
โข Bonds are tied to countries.
โข Real estate is tied to a country. If the country has problems then so do you. You lack control.
Digital assets like Bitcoin donโt have country risk. They are borderless. They are liquid (easy to buy/sell).
Bitcoin stands out because itโs scarce. Thereโs a limited supply and that supply is known to everyone.
At the start Bitcoinโs features were theories, not givens.
But now the technology has been around since 2008 and got significant adoption, everything has changed.
Up until the start of the year, Bitcoinโs price was driven entirely by the general public (retail investors).
In 2021 we saw a huge run up in price. A kind of mania erupted. Then everything crashed. People lost faith in Bitcoin. Everyday people drove all of this craziness.
At the start of this year Bitcoin ETFs got approved.
An ETF is just a fancy name for a wrapper placed on Bitcoin that allows it to be sold in investments apps like Robinhood.
It also allows financial advisors, pension funds, banks, and Wall Street to buy Bitcoin.
Before these ETFs you had to buy Bitcoin and store it in either a crypto exchange or a USB stick.
When Bitcoin exchanges went bankrupt people lost all their Bitcoin. And people who stored Bitcoin on USB sticks lost their passwords.
The original way to access Bitcoin just wasnโt secure enough for anyone outside of moms and dads to buy it. So no one except a few crazies (Elon) did. Thatโs all changed.
Now everyone can access Bitcoin, especially the people who can barely turn on a personal computer. This has led to a huge increase in the demand of Bitcoin.
Itโs not speculation. Itโs adoption.
Bitcoin solves a problem.
You only understand the problem Bitcoin solves if you have money to invest.
All the haters and trolls you see on X who diss Bitcoin donโt get it because theyโve never faced the store-of-value problem.
When you make more money than your expenses you suddenly have a secret money problem. That is, where do I store my money and have it grow on auto-pilot?
As you become wealthier, you start to think โHow do I not have my money tied to a single country?โ
๐๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐ถ๐ป ๐ถ๐๐ปโ๐ ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐
In all other financial markets you are limited by access.
Thereโs not a lot of transparency. Many investments are only accessible if youโre a high-net-wealth individual or have friends in high places.
Bitcoin is the peopleโs money.
Bitcoin doesnโt care whether you are black, purple, Jamaican, or wear a rainbow flag t-shirt to work.
Bitcoin doesnโt have political beliefs because no one country created it. Thereโs no Bitcoin founder or Bitcoin company you can sue.
Bitcoin has no employees and NO OPINION ON DEI.
Bitcoin isnโt woke or anti-woke.
It doesnโt care about what wars are going on in Europe or whether red, blue, or Donald Duck wins the U.S. election. None of it matters and thatโs why Bitcoin matters.
Bitcoin lets you exit the culture war.

In the few months since Bitcoin ETFs have existed things have gone nuts.
Roughly 80% of Bitcoin owners havenโt sold their coins in over a year. People buy and hold an asset that is already scarce.
The financial institutions have entered Bitcoin and are trying to accumulate some to sell it to their clients and make a profit.
There isnโt enough.
Tools like Glassnode let you see how much Bitcoin is available to buy on exchanges.
All of us can publicly see how much money is flowing into each of these new Bitcoin ETFs owned by the likes of Fidelity and Blackrock.
If you do 5th-grader math like I have, which is simple supply and demand, the only conclusion you can draw is...
... There isnโt enough Bitcoin based on the current record-high demand.
Retail buyers are not fully back in yet either.
One of the largest crypto exchanges, Coinbase, has about 100M users. Only about 10M are active right now.
Yes, financial institutions have had a few months to sell Bitcoin, but most havenโt even got started. Theyโre still stuck in meetings and shining their shoes.
A $1M Bitcoin price at the end of this cycle almost feels low.
Wait, what?
Yep, whatโs going on here is far bigger than โnumber go up.โ
Bitcoin is a movement. Itโs a change of rules. Itโs a rebellion against banks. Itโs even a rebellion against government control.
Bitcoin changes how we think about investing and even money. It changes the structure of ownership and removes country borders. Bitcoin is the establishment of a digital society, a digital economy.
Thatโs the big point all the Bitcoin critics have missed.
Just like the internet wasnโt about web pages or illegal Napster apps and torrents โฆ Bitcoin isnโt about a currency that can be used by criminals.
โข Bitcoin is a permanent change of the rules.
โข Bitcoin is a vote for a different future.
โข Bitcoin is a change of how democracy works.
โข Bitcoin removes race and replaces it with proof-of-work.
It's my hope you can be blessed by the gift of Bitcoin.

JULIAN ASSANGE IS FREE
Julian Assange is free. He left Belmarsh maximum security prison on the morning of 24 June, after having spent 1901 days there. He was granted bail by the High Court in London and was released at Stansted airport during the afternoon, where he boarded a plane and departed the UK.
This is the result of a global campaign that spanned grass-roots organisers, press freedom campaigners, legislators and leaders from across the political spectrum, all the way to the United Nations. This created the space for a long period of negotiations with the US Department of Justice, leading to a deal that has not yet been formally finalised. We will provide more information as soon as possible.
After more than five years in a 2x3 metre cell, isolated 23 hours a day, he will soon reunite with his wife Stella Assange, and their children, who have only known their father from behind bars.
WikiLeaks published groundbreaking stories of government corruption and human rights abuses, holding the powerful accountable for their actions. As editor-in-chief, Julian paid severely for these principles, and for the people's right to know.
As he returns to Australia, we thank all who stood by us, fought for us, and remained utterly committed in the fight for his freedom.
Julian's freedom is our freedom.
