The Kalva system is the lifeline of Konaseema, intricately linked with the larger Godavari river network. These watercourses are not only essential for irrigation and flood management but also form the ecological and cultural backbone of this beautiful region.

I observed the encroachment of the Godavari Kalva (stream) that runs along the Kothapeta to Amalapuram route near Avidi, Andhra Pradesh.
Request the concerned authorities to act on these illegal encroachments.
