My 20 year high school reunion is this year. My primary thought:
They weren’t my friends then and aren’t my friends now (with specific exception). Why should I go re-live the worst parts of high school? Life is too short for that.

The best Teacher Appreication gift would be if Admin took over the classroom for a day. And I mean REALLY took it over. So teachers didn’t have to write sub plans for them. They just knew what was up and what to teach. And they did the parent calls. And…etc

Bosses Day-A $100 gift card to a steakhouse
Counselors Week- Spa Day
Teachers Week- a Candy bag and a pack of pencils
Occasionally I have a parent conference where I just wanna ask how they raised such awesome kids.
I legit want tips. How you bring up such a confident, smart, kind, hard working, fun kid? A scholar but not a grade grubber? A kid that CARES about stuff?
Drop the details plz 🤣

I challenge you to find a classroom teacher who was working in 2019, worked all through the pandemic, and is still working today
