The cost breakdown of your lease agreements is very difficult to understand. Sending messages via in app chat is also not helpful because the support team takes forever to answer and the answers also didn’t give any clarity. I literally had to go into the dealership to figure this out.

@Uber_Support @dkhos your support team is of no real help - they ask for a DM and then disappear completely. However, these scams are rampant on Uber - you should treat trust & safety issues in a more serious manner.

@dkhos I think I got phished on the uber app today. I booked a ride and almost immediately got a call from the driver. There was a UI overlay which showed that the call was coming from Uber. I picked up and the person on the other end pretended to be Uber support. He asked for my phone number for verification purposes - I gave it to him because the call looked legitimate. Right after getting my number he said he will call me back in a minute. I then get a one time password from Uber and the support person calls back - same UI overlap stating it was from uber. All this while, the driver that I got matched with did not move and seemed stuck. I didn’t answer the second call and cancelled the ride. Flagged this several times to your support team but they are not understanding the issue and just responding with nonsense canned responses. Hope you dig into this and find out what’s going on.
