In a game full of ego, Olise chose to stand by the people who stand by him ❤️
About a month ago, Olise deleted all his photos on Instagram. People thought he was putting pressure on Bayern Munich’s management after the media started talking about Real Madrid’s interest. But the story turned out to be something else entirely.
Olise has a private photographer named Florence Pernet who attends all his matches with him and takes special photos that are different from what the other journalists shoot. He always posts only her photos on his Instagram. The thing is, during the World Cup, the U.S. authorities refused her entry.
As a result, Olise decided to delete everything. In support of her, he chose not to post anything on his account except the photos she takes from the TV screen. If you open his account now, you’ll see that all the photos look like they were taken from a screen — not live shots.
She’s sitting at home, respected and well taken care of, watching him on the television and photographing the screen. And the player, in turn, completely ignores all the high-quality 4K photos and fancy professional shots that are taken for him — he only posts hers.
Honestly, after this whole situation, my respect and admiration for Olise has grown even more. Bless his parents for raising such a decent, grounded guy who never forgets anyone who works with him and always has their back ❤️
In 2022, what won Scaloni the World Cup was moving on from the hierarchy and making some very big calls.
Enzo and Mac Allister were never starters going into that World Cup, but after that Saudi Arabia game, big calls were made, and Argentina wouldn’t have won the World Cup without it.
Yet, four years on, when it’s time to make similarly brave calls, he simply refuses to do so, and I cannot bring myself to understand it.
Ok, fine, you don’t want to start with the likes of Paz and Simeone. It is what it is. But for them to get ZERO minutes off the bench, when this side is in dire need of dynamism everytime Messi isn’t on the ball? It’s inexcusable.
No width, no legs, no pace. It’s Messi or nothing 95% of the time.
I feel like if there’s one problem Argentina have this tournament, besides the poor form of their strikers; it’s Scaloni’s loyalty to his guys.
Almada and Montiel are TERRIBLE. absolutely no reason they should be coming on ahead of Giuliano and Barco.
That S. Janaki was a fab singer is well known. She gave us SP Balasubramanium by spotting him in a college contest. The lady lived like a saint. She had the courage to decline the Padma Bushan because she felt she got her recognition 55 years too late. Even South Indians celebrated Asha Bhosle. It's a pity the rest of India didn't get to discover S.Janaki. The lady who recorded 48,000 songs. We'll miss you Janaki Amma. Thank you for the music.
Claude Code on desktop now has an in-app browser.
Claude can pull up docs, designs, or any other site. It can read, click through, and interact the same way it does with your local dev servers.
It's sandboxed and configurable: you choose whether sessions persist.
On one side, there are people who haven't read THE ODYSSEY getting irritated about its "accuracies". On the other side, people who haven't attended the premiere show are lying about attending it. Every time a Nolan film comes out, some wild things happen on the internet.
Fabian definitely gives Spain more goalscoring than Pedri, but Rodri and Cucurella gonna have to go back to Euros mode where they were working overtime to defend the spaces Fabian left, and idk how that works offensively without Nico owning the left-flank.
every time you replace "this is hard" with "what's the first step?" you shift brain activity from your amygdala (fear) to your prefrontal cortex (problem-solving).
that's neuroplasticity in real timg
The problem with doing nothing is that you are never done doing it. Nothing has no finish line. It is not a state but a void that expands to fill whatever time you give it. When you do nothing about a task, you are not resting. You are holding that task in suspension, and suspension is exhausting. It creates a low-grade, perpetual tension that ends only when the task does.
Actual work is different. Once begun, it moves toward completion because that is the nature of a task. The universe does not demand perfection, efficiency, or even success. It only demands motion. It asks you to begin, to take the first step.
Whether you act or not, you spend the same amount of energy. Avoidance does not save energy; it redirects it into worry, mental rehearsal, guilt, and the exhausting gymnastics of postponement. The energy is spent either way. Spent on dread, it evaporates. Spent on action, it turns into progress. Same fuel, radically different return.
A problem or task always weighs more in your head than in reality. In your mind, the task is infinite, formless, and clouded with everything that could go wrong and every step you have not yet taken. In reality, a task is only a sequence of small, finite actions.
Following the amazing reaction to the Marble Curriculum yesterday, we've decided to make it open source 🛰️👇
Everything a child learns in primary school. 1,590 concepts. 3,221 connections across 8 subjects, from Math and Science to Computing and Life Skills. Anchored in the US and UK curriculums, standard by standard (NGSS, Common Core, DfE).
What you will find in the repo: every concept as structured JSON with its age band and the evidence a child must show to master it. Every prerequisite link marked hard or soft, with a written rationale. It's a true DAG you can compute learning paths on. Open license, you can build whatever you want with it.
Now is a unique time in history to be building in education. Getting AI and kids education right is likely one of the hardest and most important problems to crack over the next decade and we need as many smart and creative minds behind it.
We think a common solid basis, accessible to all and that can be built upon, is critical to move fast. That's why we're making this curriculum open source.
It's not perfect but we know it's a robust basis, and we believe that sharing it openly is the fastest way to progress in this field. If you're building in education, share this around you and tell us in comments if you find this useful and if you want to contribute.
We'll keep working and investing on it @withmarbleapp. Credit goes to @guillaume_boni for building this. I just made it look pretty.
