@jupdoctrine@BitcoinArchive Because politicians are always propping up actors as experts even though they don’t know anything. As is the case here. He is unwilling to look outside his own biases l, or those of his benefactors, much like Elizabeth Warren.
@JakeClaverc86 Market cap only represents what the last person paid for a coin. It didn’t actually take $65b to reach $1.09 and there is a market cap multiplier also. Do some real research.
@winthewestback@pe_remek@mcuban Legitimate infrastructure is being built on blockchain. Unless you disagree with the BIS, Fed, nasdeq, nyse, DTCC, and most major banks.
I agree AI is taking compute power from meme coins like bitcoin though.
@winthewestback@pe_remek@mcuban So is it CNBC or MSNBC that you watch more of? These are just talking points. Please do some real research and get back to us. Thank you.
@dangambardello I wish the cardano community all the best. I have almost invested many times. Every time I think about it Charles comes out with a rant and I decide not to. Maybe good tech but leadership is shaky.
@Avy11806063@TedPillows I guess time will tell. I personally think the plumbing has been set. After legislation we will see the tokens start to be used in earnest. Using them in the system now would prematurely increase value making scaling more difficult. See you on the other side!
@Avy11806063@TedPillows You’re right. Never mind all the world’s banks and financial institutions like NYSE, NASDAQ, DTCC, and the regulators are all working to implement blockchain. I am going to sell now. Thanks.
@SenBlumenthal@SenBlumenthal
Ummmmm……. How about a stand alone piece of legislation that bans ALL elected officials and regulators from owning stock/crypto PERIOD while in office. It’s not just a crypto problem.
