Is our weight really in kilograms?
Almost everyone reports their weight in kilograms, but is that scientifically correct?
Once we understand the difference between mass and weight, we may never look at a weighing machine the same way again 😊
Watch this short video and see whether we have been using the term correctly all these years:

Encouraging to see initiatives that are strengthening Bihar’s industrial ecosystem and deepening collaboration between industry, technology, academia, and government.
Bihar, an eastern state of India with a rich civilisational legacy, has long been recognised as a centre of learning, culture, and trade. Home to the famous ancient Nalanda University, one of the world’s earliest universities, Bihar has historically connected ideas, knowledge, and commerce across regions and cultures. Today, the state is steadily emerging as a hub for investment, entrepreneurship, manufacturing, and innovation, supported by its talented youth, strategic location, and rising economic potential.
Congratulations to Shashi Sekhar and the entire team at Bihar Industrial Development Chamber of Commerce (BIDCC) for this impactful initiative. Wishing the organisation continued success in building global partnerships and creating new opportunities for sustainable growth and development.
As Bihar advances its industrial and innovation ecosystem, there is significant potential for future collaboration between Bihar and Australia, particularly in areas such as agriculture, education, clean energy, skilling, technology exchange, and food processing. Such partnerships can further strengthen economic and cultural ties between India and Australia. I would be pleased to contribute and support any such collaborative initiatives that may be established in the future.

Many good research studies also get rejected not because of weak ideas, but often because of poor presentation, unclear writing, and avoidable errors, which can create doubt about quality, accuracy and reliability.
Presentation weaknesses may sometimes also be noticed in some published articles, technical reports and other publications. Therefore, sincere readers and researchers should always read them critically and carefully to learn, understand, and apply knowledge appropriately.

Right here, 125 years ago, our Australian democracy became real.
In all that time, there is a lesson that has held true:
Australia is always at our best, when we choose to lift people up - not shut them out.
Because every time we have followed our national instinct for unity and fairness, we have been better for it.
It was true on our Parliament's very first day. And we’ll carry it forward for the next 125 years.
