@hemeshgpt Hey Hemesh, Mostly email and copywriting as of right now.
I spent a few years writing campaigns for Real estate agents and lately I've been doing some product growth by building my own thing.
What are you working on?
Some of the best marketing copy is sitting in your customer reviews.
People describe what you sell in the exact words other customers use when they search for it.
A software company might write "AI-powered workflow automation platform."
A customer writes "it saved me two hours every Monday."
Only one of those makes you want to sign up.
Before you write your next ad or headline, read ten reviews and borrow their phrases.
If you don't have any reviews yet, read your competitors' 3-star reviews on G2 or the App Store.
They show you exactly what users wish someone would build better.
Two weeks of cold emails to real estate agents.
Only one replied.
My first thought was spam. So before I changed a single word, I checked the authentication.
SPF and DKIM were both passing.
The emails were getting delivered.
People just weren't writing back.
That told me the problem was the email itself.
Every one had a full sample hyperlocal newsletter written for that agent. I thought it would show what I can do.
Looking at it now, that's a lot to read from someone you've never met.
So starting this morning, I'm splitting the list.
Half get the original long email.
The other half get a short one, about 120 words, that offers to write a free sample instead of sending it.
Two weeks of silence felt bad, but it gave me something real to test.
