@ITCarGuy @SGgrc I agree Win10 is forceful in doing a reboot - it's gotten better at warning but you can't outright prevent it. Your prior tweet implied Linux rarely needed the reboot at all though, which is not the case for the periodic kernel updates.

I now have Git on Windows calling GPG within WSL for signing and keychain which is then calling back out to Windows for the pinentry exe (no WSLg yet). There are probably better ways to use the same GPG keychain inside and out of WSL but it works🤷

@ITCarGuy @SGgrc Not really. Linux will still want a reboot for a kernel update as well. The difference is it won't force you, thus you could be running a year old kernel until you actively reboot (stuff like kpatch is only very new)

Changes to legacy G Suite are annoying. One family member + me. I don't care for the business mgmt, would be happy to pay @Google One w/ custom domain. Already paying for YT Prem, and One offers more storage for cheaper with 5 fam members. Ughhh. #GoogleWorkspace

After 4 weeks of not playing, suppose I can thank @NianticLabs for successfully killing interest in @HPWizardsUnite due to grindy RNG preventing event completion. Also killed all desire in @PokemonGoApp Feedback for @NianticHelp - low spawn rate in time critical event is terrible

Some fun tidbits from The 7th Guest: the Win32 exe uses a 66ms base timer tick, the notorious microscope AI is opcode 66 in the scripts, and the RNG function happens to be 'flawed' in such a way it often repeats after 66 iterations for many seeds. Oddly coincidental of Stauf #t7g

@HPWizardsUnite Events already feel like a grind, but the Ministry Executioners in this one are terrible. Multiple trace tonics and trace charms, and still only at 6/10 after 5 days. Feels like I'm missing out due to missing the 'story'.

While I support the idea of @originenergy Spike to flatten demand curves, it's given me an impossible goal for tomorrow: export 1.5kWh at 5pm while thunderstorms are forecast. No sun = no export, no matter how much I switch off.
