In #StainesPrepScience, #StainePrepYear5 pupils have been super excited this week setting off rocket cars. The vinegar and bicarbonate of soda react to produce carbon dioxide gas. This gives it the thrust to travel. NEW RECORD: 22.60 metres! π²
In #StainesPrepScience#StainesPrepYear5 pupils have been making spectacular rocket cars for #STEAMweek. They have set off their amazing creations in the playground with records being broken nearly every time. The furthest so far travelled 19.70 metres off rocket power alone!
