Simplicity in this World, Mindful of the Hereafter.
Highlighting the importance of simplicity, humility and avoiding worldly ostentation, Beloved Huzoor (aba) shared a narration from Hazrat A’ishah (ra):
“The Holy Prophet (sa) said to me, ‘If you wish to meet me in the hereafter then you should consider this world to be like the means of a traveller; and avoid the company of the wealthy; and do not abandon wearing any clothes until you have mended them.’”
Beloved Huzoor (aba) further explained:
“He also advised the affluent that those whose attire is only to be seen by others and a means of ostentation become far removed from remembering the hereafter. Thus, one should wear good clothes, all while remaining mindful of the hereafter.”

What is the solution to financial hardship?
The Qur’an tells us: seek forgiveness, recite Istighfar.
We’re only ever a moment’s notice away from financial hardship, so make sure to establish Istighfar as a core, daily habit.

The Remarkable Simplicity of the Holy Prophet (sa).
Highlighting the extraordinary simplicity and exemplary character of the Holy Prophet (sa), Beloved Huzoor (aba) shared a narration from Hazrat Aisha (ra):
“I never heard the Holy Prophet (sa) use abusive language, nor were his clothes piled up.”
Beloved Huzoor (aba) further explained:
“He lived a very simple life and had one set of clothes. He did not have another set of clothes that would accumulate. At times, if the clothes needed to be washed, he would leave the house before the clothes had even dried and wet patches were still visible.
This was the level of his simplicity, the likes of which an affluent person can never achieve, nor can anyone else.”

Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba) graciously granted an audience to three Christian guests who advocate for persecuted Christians and other communities.
Following their meeting, the guests shared their reflections:
"He was warm and friendly, and the great humility I observed in him impressed me even more."
A Muslim man in Medina once stole a suit of armour and framed an innocent Jewish man.
His Muslim clansmen rallied to his defence, appealing to Prophet Muhammad to protect their own.
Then came a Quranic revelation:
“Whoever commits a fault or a sin and then blames it on an innocent person has certainly burdened himself with slander and manifest sin.”(Quran 4:112)
The revelation condemned the Muslim wrongdoer and defended the innocent Jewish man.
Think about that. For fourteen centuries, Muslims have recited verses that, according to classical accounts, were revealed in part to defend a Jewish man against a Muslim and his tribal supporters.
The Quran did not ask whose tribe he belonged to. It asked who was innocent. That is what principled justice looks like.
Justice is not loyalty to your religion, your nation, or your tribe. It is loyalty to what is right, even when the wrongdoer is one of your own.
That is the Islam I believe in.

During his Friday sermon today, His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, said:
The wars that are taking place today are because some nations are seeking to usurp the wealth of other nations and seize their land.
The risk of those wars spreading is increasing. If this happens, then Europe and the rest of the world will suffer from a scarcity of food. Less developed nations may be able to bear the conditions of war, but Europe and prosperous nations will struggle, and this will cause them more anxiety [as they are not used to such conditions].
If these conditions [of conflict] remain, then a world war is certain, and so is the destruction that would follow.
Instead of attempting to seize the land and wealth of others, they should serve their own people.
We should pray that Allah saves the world from such calamities.
The Holy Prophet’s (sa) Example of Kindness and Humility.
Highlighting the exemplary treatment of women and the humility demonstrated by the Holy Prophet (sa), Beloved Huzoor (aba) quoted the Promised Messiah (as):
“The Holy Prophet (sa) is a perfect example in every respect. Study his life and see how he treated women. In my view, an individual who stands up to contend against a woman is an unmanly coward. Study the pure life of the Holy Prophet (sa) so that you may see how kind he was.
Even though the Holy Prophet (sa) was an awe-inspiring personality, if an old woman would stop him, he would stand there until the lady would permit him to leave.
He would go to the market himself and bring his household items. On one occasion, the Holy Prophet (sa) purchased something from the market and a companion submitted: ‘Your Holiness, allow me,’ but the Holy Prophet (sa) said: ‘A person ought to carry their own things.’”

The latest #hijab ban comes from Azerbaijan.
The Irony? This time it’s a Muslim majority country.
Does freedom mean banning women from expressing their faith with the hijab?
