Jeepers. If @SChandraHerbert were really a leader he would have dropped his CA who doesn’t believe that Jews should participate in Pride activities - check your own house before casting stones @bcndp#bcpoli

I think the youth movement within the @Conservative_BC candidate choices is inspired, and a really positive signal for the future with those hungering for new blood, new ideas, and a generational shift in politics.
Elliott raised much more than anybody else and lost
The only other time I can remember the highest grosser not winning was Dianne Watts in 2017
Shows how bad women are with money!
Despite my strong disappointment and grievances regarding how KLF was removed as leader, I now believe the sensible step forward is to get behind Interim Leader @LDoerkson and support the @BCConservCaucus
I spoke and posted out of anger and frustration, and for that, I apologize and express my regret. While I still believe KLF was—and is—the best choice for leader, it is time to focus on ending the incompetence and corruption of the @bcndp
Electing a @Conservative_BC government on October 24th is what is truly in the best interest of British Columbians. Voting for incredible people like @HeatherMaahs@LawrenceMok_@DrAnnaKindy@Kristina4BC@SteveKooner@gavindew@jaimestein is in the best interest for all of us.
That said, I still stand by my support for the current MLA a former VPD Inspector, in Yaletown, and a strong ally of Vancouver’s Jewish community, as I do not believe the local BC Conservative candidate’s values align with those of the grassroots conservative movement. #bcpoli
They’re running!
The team from Without Diminishment is thrilled to share that co-founder Caroline Elliott and senior advisor Margareta Dovgal (both on editorial leave) will be on the ballot on October 24th in British Columbia.
We wish them all the best over the next 3.5 weeks.
Conservatives both federally and provincially, are a mess.
This is the influence of Donald Trump. These Trump-Republican style politicians are floundering because Canadians don’t like it.
COPE Housing Platform for the Vancouver Municipal Election in short:
Make various 3rd parties do or pay for things that the city has little or no ability to make them do or pay for:
- Province ($13B budget deficit)
- CMHC (underwrites nearly all rental construction today)
- Developers (aren’t starting new projects so good luck making them pay for anything additional)
Nowhere do I see a registry for those who actually need rent control. What about all the people who benefit from rent control but don’t need it?
