Jimmy’s post had me looking deeper into the $SMR narrative.
One thing I keep noticing is how many of the loudest bearish voices around $SMR are international/non-U.S entities.
You have short sellers openly pushing bearish thesis that are non U.S
@stardust0556 and I identified @perosconi as none other than Samuel Surkos a short seller with 3S Advisors in Bratislava Slovakia.

@UbermenschMind "He desperately wants you to think he is cool, so he started a new gaming company, ModRetro"
1) I started ModRetro in the 2000s
2) Anyone who thinks open-source, Linux-based hardware companies are "cool" is probably not a very useful judge of what cool is.
In case you missed it: the nuclear comeback is underway, and Oklo is building it.
A few weeks ago, just after reaching criticality at the Groves Isotope Test Reactor, CEO Jake DeWitte brought @tboypod’s @NickOfNewYork & @jackkramer along for a tour of the facility and to unpack the ideas behind Oklo’s efforts to build a new approach to nuclear.
They cover how fast reactors work, what criticality actually means, why Oklo is investing in fuel recycling technology now, and why the conversation around America’s growing power demand is putting nuclear back at the center of the energy debate.

WE HAVE CRITICALITY!
Oklo has completed first criticality at its Groves Isotope Test Reactor.
Built in less than a year under the @ENERGY’s Reactor Pilot Program, Groves offers a concrete blueprint for future advanced nuclear deployment as the fastest fully privately financed and built reactor project of its kind.
Today, Oklo proves that advanced reactors can be built, started, and operated faster than anyone thought possible and shows the world that America can build nuclear again.

A recent #IAEA Small Modular Reactor (SMR) School held in Russia gave policy makers and regulators from around the 🌏 an opportunity to learn directly from organizations involved in the design, regulation and operation of SMRs and nuclear-powered vessels.
The School is part of the IAEA’s support to Member States considering #SMR technology.

China isn't holding back.
If the USA is determined to play "Trade-War Tantrum" China is just going to move on, and leave the USA in a museum of 20th century artifacts.
The ONLY way the US advances is WITH China.
And one more thing worth noting:
The LLPs are still posting about $SMR.
Pomerantz LLP has continued publishing investor alerts regarding NuScale, and its recent alerts continue to cite the UBS $6 price target.

And then you have UBS — a Swiss financial institution cutting $SMR to Sell with a $6 target.
Then that $6 thesis starts becoming part of the broader bearish narrative.
That's what caught my attention.
Iceberg Research: Credibility Short Report
@IcebergResear publishes reports targeting public companies, primarily to profit from stock declines. Operates a foreign-based, single-founder website with minimal transparency. $SMR $TMC $QUBT $BBAI
Bottom line: Don't let a short seller write the story for you.
Check the underlying contracts, filings, milestones, and what actually happens afterward. $SMR
2023: Iceberg report → fear and massive decline → later court dismissal of the securities claims, with the court noting reliance on Iceberg's speculation/opinions.
2025: Iceberg returns with another bearish report → another wave of fear/narrative around $SMR.
The court specifically noted that much of the information investors were relying on from the Iceberg report consisted of Iceberg’s own “speculation” and “opinions,” rather than established facts.
Another example is Iceberg Research in 2023.
On October 19, 2023, Iceberg published its bearish report on NuScale. $SMR dropped about 11.5% that day, and after the UAMPS project was terminated weeks later, the stock fell another 32.9%, closing around $2.08.
And that's why I'm going back to the original sources.
What is actually fact?
What is an analyst's track record?
What is speculation?
And what is simply somebody's position just talking?
Narratives are fabricated. Facts aren't.
