@calxcanary idk why Ilyas s1 fears are valid but Shane's in s2 won't be... even though being out wasn't a magic fix for Ilyas mental health either, and shane desperately wanted to be out too (despite what ppl claim) but was rightfully cautious

@calxcanary funny you say that I have muted authors for their clear anti shane bias. that one author who had hayden of all ppl call shane (in this au is 30 and hasn't been with ilya) a disappointment THREE TIMES for not immediately being confident/out the second he has his first gay kiss 😵‍💫

@calxcanary that was my EXACT problem, but no they said he was trying but just couldn't do it 😵‍💫 and ilya smokes a whole pack a day and sits at work (so not an athlete at all) and still was better than shane. I think he'd khs if he lost a race to this au ilya not think it was admirable 🙃
