Bump that to 40 minutes and you have four times as many cars. Now you’re looking at 20+ acres for one station. California can’t handle its present load but let’s add cars?

Do you know how many large trucks occupy the roads? Charging those alone will take massive acreage. Not to mention the electricity

@JianxiongLi2 @CathieDWood The charge time and real estate required is a tough hurdle. Lightning chargers ~ 80% in ~ 40 minutes. That’s less than 300 mile range. My recent 18 hour road trip would have required around six hours of charge time as opposed to 20 minutes total at the pump.
