I know some @theRCN members will be tempted to accept the insulting pay offer we’ve just been given because they are struggling right now financially.
This is a plea that you REJECT.
For the sake of our profession and for the sake of the NHS.
PLEASE REJECT.

@AdsCondron @BeckettUnite Wouldn't work for all nurses. I work as a community nurse covering a large area. I am only just able to see 5 or 6 patients a day using my car. If I had to use public transport that would go down dramatically despite my caseload increasing daily.
@AngelaRayner This is utter madness. If he sacks us who will staff the wards ? The NHS would have to be staffed by agency nurses which would increase running costs. This government are determined to destroy the NHS. What they are doing would be deemed gross misconduct in most industries
@parsnip45@nicolalalalala Thanks Sue. I can't see the original tweet that you replied to, but your comment has made my day. Work is quite full on at the moment x
@BritishGasHelp I have sorted this and am paying the amount I feel is what needs to be paid. I just find it shocking that you can adjust a DD with no written notice other than it appearing on the app as a higher payment. I wonder how many others will get a shock next month when payment is due
@BritishGas why do you insist on treating your customers like we are idiots? I just called to reduce my DD as you were putting it up (without any discussion with me). I have worked out my energy usage based on what I'm using according to your app
@BritishGas if you take into account the payments been made to each household and the amount I am already in credit I think it will turn out that you owe me money in 6 months not the other way around.
@BritishGas I only noticed the increase when checking the app. Your adviser was quite condescending when informing me the price of energy has increased. Do you think I have been living under a rock and don't realise this? I would rather keep the extra money in my own account
