Did it change your mind at all on high refresh rate stuff too?
When Omarchy first launched I remember submitting a PR to default to the higher refresh rate, and your (totally fair) take was that most programmers care more about resolution than frame rate. As a display snob, I’ll happily pay for both but it’s honestly hard to explain how big the difference is until you live on high refresh and then go back to 60 Hz. Curious if you used it long enough to get acclimated.
Also worth noting: the newer OLED panels have way better pixel substrates. Text rendering is noticeably cleaner, and color fringing is much less of an issue if you’re sensitive to that stuff. The pure black themes on Omarchy are gorgeous on OLEDs!
@mitchellh Hey @mitchellh, I've been building a little tool for myself that wraps around Ghostty, and it's been a joy to build on. Just wanted to say thank you for making it open source :)
@Shpigford I use an open source tool called Karakeep. It has a chrome extension and a mobile app, and will automatically tag things you save with an OpenAI key https://t.co/bUA2x2ljaW
@ericmigi@backlon Yo @ericmigi , I remember you tweeting that the Blackberry keyboard patent was going to expire this year. Are you cooking up anything with that?
