1/ Current economic conditions are changing the game on the field. If you run a business and it is instrumented well, you don't need to guess about whether the factors influencing LTV are changing in your business. Other businesses will experience different impacts. It depends.
Successful startups need some hype to get the ball rolling. That initial buzz helps attract talent, investors, and customers. But needs to be something there besides hype at the end of the day.

It is vital to act as a shield for your team in tough times.
Be honest, but spare your team the ups, downs, and gory details. They didn't sign up for the same level of volatility that you did as the founder.
Stay positive. Even the best companies face tons of rejection!
