@lauraislosingit I’m definitely starting to feel better but it’s going to be a slow recovery! Right now just glad to be home from the hospital and catching up on school, working on dealing with the situation mentally!
I spent 5 days in the hospital. I had no risk factors for blood clots, I had not traveled recently, I’m only 24, and after extensive testing have determined I do not have any clotting disorders. Please take care of yourselves and please advocate for yourselves.
The last 2 weeks have been so rough. On Friday 11/4 pain started in my leg, and I had intuition that there was a clot even though I hadn’t traveled recently/had no other risk factors (mostly because I hadn’t done anything else to cause the pain—no injuries or new activity)
The results came back and I had multiple bilateral pulmonary emboli. The clot in my leg had traveled to my lungs. My doctors finally took me seriously, acknowledged the hoops I had to go through despite dealing with something so serious.
So I got out of the hospital again because I was still manic and they just kept adding meds without removing any previous meds and now I have to take 17 pills a day throughout the day I’m dull as hell and the meds are probs gonna make me gain weight send help
Anyway I’ve just realized its probs been more of a form of self harm for me, I used to cut my thigh as an outlet, and I stopped that years ago, but the feelings going thru my head are probs still all the same when I choose to pop 80 pills instead
