We live in bubbles, and the best way to bridge the gap is to respectfully have a discussion about our ideas. That's what I want to do here. π«βπ»πΊπ²
So, thanks to @drmistercody, I've learned that the @X platform is mostly just bots interacting with other bots, and the bots are even -checked. But also, the controversial, low-effort posts drive engagement, so all the divisive shit you see is making $$$. @elonmusk is evil.
@coachbrucepearl Why don't old conservatives understand the nuance of recognizing how things have been bad and how they can be better without hating the country?
@PaulTassi Bungie have to see the excitement around this and see the opportunity, right? They could do their own with little effort, right? Please tell me the wheels are turning. They have to be, right? Even with limited devs.
@A_dmg04 any chance there's a secret, previously hidden way to farm bright dust? The dailies just don't give enough. Maybe we can prestige season pass for resources?
@Faziimoto@DestinyBulletn Democrats wouldn't make something like this with Biden for two very good reasons. First off, we didn't worship the ground he walked on or think he was sent by God to be president. Second, we wouldn't use AI to try to convince ourselves he's not an old, fat man. It's sad.
@Willowstration I know it's a different field, but when College Humor had to shut down, they went to a crowd-sourcing model to stay alive as Dropout. Idk how it would work logistically, but if you could crowdsource somehow to keep the dev team together, there would be support.
@russell64882258@MarcoFoster_@zeteo_news He's cosplaying as a journalist. Real journalists don't act like him. He's a microcosm of a movement from the right to pretend knowledge and experience aren't pre-requisits to be a professional in any given field.
@Bungie "Destiny 2 fell short"... Gtfo. Someone made the horrendous decision to make a new, niche game with Destiny money instead of beginning work on Destiny 3.
@Jemsinger@Gallup@grok what happened around 2009 that made the opinion switch from Democrats to Republicans are better with the economy? What happened around 2012 that would make made it switch briefly back to Democrats? Why the huge shift now?
