P1/2 learned about the lack of clean water across the world which means some children spend their time collecting water instead of accessing school. They were inspired to take action and organised an ice lolly sale at our school picnic where they raised over £300 for Water Aid!
@UpstartScot I was aware of the change in dates for accessing the additional year of funding (I have an end of Sept birthday girl) but have been impressed with my daughter’s Angus ELC formally making me aware of the option, unprompted 😊
Parents: The coming economic crisis is going to bring fear & tension into your home. That means you will lose it more easily with your kids. That’s okay. What matters most of all is REPAIR after Rupture. Focus on that & yr relationship will be okay. https://t.co/BechUuyF4B
P1/2 have been very busy counting and comparing collections, showing their understanding of number patterns, identifying the correct numeral and subitising in lots of different ways! @Numicon@CarlogiePS@MathsScot
P1B enjoyed making scientific observations of the butterfly life cycle in class and were pleased to raise 32 beautiful butterflies, which have been released into our playground!
