I feed it coffee, sugar, ice cream, but nothing sticks. I try to make new lists and social posts and poke at projects, but interacting in any way brings new moods, weakens some, strengthens others, sneak attacks metaphors as they seek to bind, explain, or assuage.
My mood roams the streets of my body like a savage beast, untamed, at times disinterested but mostly struggling to attack or escape. It's constrained, afraid of disappearing, desperate to be remembered, understood, played with....
@prufrockluvsong I went to go to the bathroom in an Irish themed restaurant once, and as I was about to walk though the door marked "Laddies," I looked over to see if the other door said "Lassies," but it said "Men," and that's when I realized I had misread my door.
The other day my son and I were talking about how sites have automated systems for identifying pornography at time of upload--not foolproof but they are a first line of defense.
And my son asked why these systems aren't used to detect dick pics and ask for recipient consent?
@rustybarnes23 I made another account just for that. Which makes me feel better about feeling worse but doesnโt really make me feel better. And sometimes makes me feel worse.
