@northernassist bizarre situation at Blackpool North this evening. Not allowed out the concourse until 2 minutes before the train due to leave. Herded in like cattle, and no shops or cafe open. Why are the platforms locked when the train is there waiting to leave?

No one really warns you about this part of adulthood where you start to feel homesick, not for a house, but for a moment in time. A version of life that doesn’t exist anymore. A place you can’t return to, and a feeling you didn’t know you’d miss so much until it was gone.

@sbl365 The role is being downgraded by academy trusts. They don't value the local knowledge and would rather everything done centrally from an office often miles away. Crazy system.

@schoolbusmgr Piloted Sims next gen. Very happy with it and no issues. Much more staff friendly. Have used Arbor too, don't like it, especially the payments side. To over complex.
