Do I blame them for dining out on potentially sending us down? Absolutely not. Regardless of our circumstances, it’s a holy grail moment for them.

14 years ago, we beat them at Hillsborough. They told us it was a derby they could “afford to lose”. We pipped them to promotion on the final day and left them marooned in League One for 6 years and we royally took the piss.

Football has a funny way of turning full circle, as it swung in their favour in 2017. But I’ve every confidence the pendulum will swing back our way again.

It’s a rivalry. It’s what makes football special in our great city.

Tomorrow might hurt, but better days will return.
