Over 50% of adults using cannabis for pain cut back on opioids!

Over half of those using cannabis said it helped them use less of:

Prescription opioid painkillers. Prescription non-opioid painkillers.

Over-the-counter pain medications. Less than 1% said cannabis led to more use of these medications.

38.7% said cannabis led to less use of physical therapy. 19.1% said cannabis led to less use of meditation. 26% said cannabis led to less use of cognitive behavioral therapy.

Tiny THC-CBD Dose REVERSES Alzheimer’s Memory Decline!

How the Study Worked:

Involved patients aged 60-80 with Alzheimer's dementia. Randomly split into two groups: one got a fake pill (placebo), the other got a tiny daily oral dose (0.35 mg THC + 0.245 mg CBD). Lasted 26 weeks (about 6 months); neither patients nor doctors knew who got what (double-blind).

Key Results at 6 Months:

Patients on the cannabis extract scored noticeably higher on a standard memory/cognition test (Mini-Mental State Exam) than the placebo group. No real differences in other measured symptoms, side effects, or safety issues between groups.

Conclusions: This is the longest trial so far testing cannabis compounds on Alzheimer's patients. Early signs show low-dose THC-CBD might safely help with dementia symptoms.
