I see 2 things in almost every ad account I audit, doesn’t matter the spend. They either aren’t testing enough creative or they have way over complicated there set up. A simple structure and testing cadence goes a long way.
Fable 5.1 feels like such an upgrade from Fable 5. It seems to be faster at orchestrating and reviewing when delegating to lower cost models like Opus and Luna.
Meta just dropped $2B on Manus.
Not to help you create ads. To replace the people who run them.
Manus can already:
→ Execute market research
→ Analyze campaign data
→ Build websites from scratch
→ Work autonomously without prompts
And now it's getting plugged directly into Meta's ad ecosystem.
The "media buyer" job title has maybe 18-24 months left in its current form.
The new role? AI strategist. Creative director. Brand architect.
Execution is getting automated. Strategy isn't (yet).
Not gonna lie, this one made me pause. Then I realized: adapt or die has always been the game. This just raised the stakes.
Allow me to reintroduce myself—
I’m Stephen Lavender, a former DTC founder turned growth strategist.
For 4.5 years, I poured everything into building my own DTC brand from the ground up, scaling it to mid-7 figures.
Six months ago, I made the decision to close that chapter—and now I leverage everything I learned as a founder to help 7–9 figure DTC brands scale profitably through data-driven growth strategies.
A little about me:
I’ve stayed up at night stressing about CAC, ROAS, payroll, creative fatigue—you name it.
I’ve felt the frustration of hiring agencies or contractors that didn’t understand my brand or give me the time of day.
And Ive experienced the magic of breakthrough moments—when the right creative hits and everything clicks.
Having been on both sides of the table, I bring a unique perspective to helping DTC brands grow.
So, I launched https://t.co/4yhxDwFKkh, a growth shop focused on simplified, scalable systems that drive sustainable growth for 7-9 figure DTC brands.
No fluff. No theory. Just battle-tested strategies from the trenches.
Have a burning growth challenge? Comment below or shoot me a DM—I'd be happy to share specific strategies to help your DTC brand.
One harsh truth about DTC marketing: economies of scale rarely apply.
As you scale, efficiency often declines—CPC increases, CAC rises, and every incremental dollar becomes less effective.
Most brands I meet struggle with at least one (or more) of these problems:
❌ No clear marketing plan. They jump from tactic to tactic making reactive decisions that burn cash without building momentum.
❌ "Spend to spend" mentality. Brands often believe that throwing more money at ads will magically fix everything—it rarely does.
❌ No system in place to continually produce net new creative.
❌ Increased costs with audience saturation. As you expand your reach, you move from your ideal customers (or buyers in market) to people who need more convincing (and cost more to convert).
Before you pour more fuel on the fire, ensure you have:
✅ A deep understanding of who buys from you and why—not just demographics, but real buying triggers.
✅ A system to produce quality creative at the volume scaling demands (hint: it's always more than you think).
✅ Margins that can handle the inevitable rise in acquisition costs.
✅ A post-purchase experience that turns buyers into repeat customers and referral machines.
Over the next few days, I'll share actionable tips I've learned on how to grow your DTC brand sustainably and profitably.

11/ The difference between a good page and a great page?
SIMPLICITY.
Your landing page should answer:
👉 “Why should I buy?”
👉 “Why should I buy NOW?”
Remove distractions. Make action obvious.
