Thoughts anyone? "President @petrogustavo explained that the integration of the Venezuelan migrant population in Colombia has been largely successful, with more than half already employed and contributing to the economy".

The #USA has justified its intervention in #Venezuela citing the Venezuelan government's record of human rights violations, but accountability for human rights violations cannot be achieved through unilateral military intervention that violates international law.
We fear that the current instability & increased militarisation due to the US intervention will further worsen the situation in Venezuela.
The future of Venezuela must be determined solely by the Venezuelan people, with full respect for their human rights, incl. the right to self-determination & sovereignty over their lives and resources.

🎤 The voices of refugees must be heard to find lasting solutions.
Without the voices of those who have lived displacement, it is not possible to shape public policies that reflect society as a whole.
