@NateB_Panic In first case parent passed away and once things settled their financial advisor told them they had more than enough to retire. Another their spouse passed away and triggered by a RIF they determined they were able to retire as well. Likely early in trend as baby boomers age.

@NateB_Panic In additional to Covid retirements there is also some asset accumulation and flows occurring which are impacting. In a small work team of less than 15 people 2 team mates in recent years retired early both i believe in their late 50s. 1/2

@jamie_maguire1 @shanselman Cars are getting crazy, if air bags deploy insurance companies often prefer to just total them. Lower liability i guess if the new bags later don’t go off or go off accidentally. Engineering for common use cases and repairability becoming a lost art.

First test assembly of the parametric version of the Nukit Open Air Purifier. This is generated by a web app so you just select how many fans, what size, what sides of the box they are on, how many filters, what size, and it automatically generates the files for the lasercutter. Then just fit and glue.

This is a horizontal version designed to be hung from a ceiling. Could use a coat of paint, but otherwise not bad🤔 Any school with a 6040 lasercutter and some wood glue can whip them up on the cheap.
