you talk to some whos 21 on twitter and realize yo brain really don’t finish developing till 25 but then you see a 27 year old on here with the same thinking process as the 21 year old and realize all this shit fake asf and we all going to hell
It’s kind of insane that we’re all lucky enough to live on this insignificant blue ball floating in an endless void that can somehow keep us alive indefinitely and yet a huge chunk of people want to ruin it forever in the name of an economic concept that we made up ourselves
Corey Brewer is a NBA Champion.
Joakim Noah won NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
Al Horford captained a NBA Champion.
But the way those 3 guys talk about the 07 team and why the decision to come back was worth it & gets better every passing year is why they are unicorns.
It took a Walter Clayton, Jr magic carpet ride through the tourney to win the Natty for me to halfway get over losing in the 2014 Final Four as the overall #1 seed
That Florida team went almost 4 whole months without losing a game
Jaden Ivey: Being gay is wrong because God says so
Chicago Bulls: You’re fired from your job
The dumbest person you know: BEING A CHRISTIAN IS ILLEGAL I GUESS. FREE SPEECH IS CANCELED!
Florida and Kentucky played 120 minutes of basketball this season.
Kentucky led zero minutes. At no point in three games did Kentucky ever have a lead.
7,200 seconds, and Kentucky led zero of those seconds.
Some reflection ahead of Micah’s senior night -
I watched from 10 feet away as Micah broke his leg and his parents ran on the court during the SEC Championship game. It was a trying moment as a sports fan seeing somebody in that much pain. Knowing that I’d never be able to relate to something of that nature but trying to support him. A few weeks later I saw him out, shared my support and wished him the best. I truly thought he would never play in a Gator jersey again. I thought the roster construction would leave him in the dust and in two years time (what I expected the recovery would be) he’d find another team.
Fast forward to less than a year he made the most selfless decision in Gator history to come back and ended up being an integral part of the 2025 National Champion Florida Gators. One of eight players to play during the national championship. As a fan I got to share this high with Micah and it really was an amazing story of perseverance , selflessness and being the ultimate teammate.
When thinking about this era of Florida Basketball some of the “best” players come to mind such as Water Clayton Jr, Will Richard, Thomas Haugh, Alex Condon and Alijah Martin.
But thinking about it Micah Handlogten defines this era of Gator basketball. With his injury came the most painful loss of the era as we did not have the size to combat Colorados front court and his comeback lined up the gators climbing back to the mountaintop of CBB. But Micah does not merely define this era of Gator basketball by timeline. Grit, perseverance, teamwork and winning define Micah and are the pillars of Todd Golden basketball.
Thank you Micah for all you did for the Gators. Forever a champion forever a Gator.
Sickening to see how many Americans are ignoring the most pressing stories of our time
Florida is now shooting the three at a competent level on top of the front court and defense and nobody is talking about it
