An Israeli minister seized the UNRWA office in Jerusalem at the request of the Israeli Prime Minister.

This violates Article 52 of Additional Protocol (I) Geneva Conventions and the UN Charter, which stipulates that “The property and assets of the UN, wherever located shall be immune…” Another violation of international law being broadcast live. Israel cannot continue to be treated as a full member of the UN.

In 2024, an international investigation revealed that Israel possessed no evidence linking the agency's staff to Hamas or showing their participation in the events of October 7.

UNRWA is not just any agency; Israeli efforts to dismantle UNRWA are politically motivated to eliminate the refugee issue and undermine the right of return.

The accusation that I am antisemitic is appalling and fundamentally dishonest. Criticizing the actions of the Israeli prime minister, a military technology contract, or the executives who supply it is not the same as criticizing Jewish people. This critical and necessary dialogue is then dishonestly framed as being anti-Israel. To be clear, my views come from my own political convictions and should never be interpreted as hostility toward Jewish people, for whom I have deep love and respect.  Everything I know about acting, activism, and humanism has been profoundly shaped by the Jewish friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been integral and family throughout every point of my life.

This merger has real consequences for real people, and for the entire country. Scrutinizing the Ellisons, including Oracle’s business built on data, surveillance technology and government contracts, and the serious threat to editorial freedom and the loss of a livelihood for thousands of families, is fair and necessary. The $111 billion deal would hand one family control over CNN, HBO and Warner Bros., backed in part by foreign money whose influence on editorial decisions has never been fully explained to the public. 

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called for serious national security review, and regulators still haven’t given the public a real answer. Until they do, the merger shouldn’t move forward. Now is the time to dive boldly into all these issues, not step back or concede.

BREAKING: Iran has publically accused Donald Trump, Jared Kushner, and Steve Witkoff of severe market manipulation, alleging they timed military actions and diplomatic signals around stock market hours for insider profit, and is calling on Congress to investigate, per PBS.

In a PBS interview, IRGC senior adviser Brig. Gen. Mohammad Reza Naqdi alleged that the administration launches military operations after market close and issues market-positive statements before market open, while insiders trade on that information. He said the administration is working for its own enrichment, not the country's.

Naqdi called for a congressional investigation comparing the pre- and post-war financial positions of Trump, his family, and his close associates, explicitly naming Kushner and Witkoff. This follows Iran's earlier claim of $9 billion in profits from market manipulation by individuals close to Trump and a formal demand for $4.5 billion.

The accusations align with concerns already raised by U.S. lawmakers and analysts over suspicious trading patterns tied to Iran war announcements. Tehran is now making the case at the highest level.

Between April and May 2026, a series of suspiciously timed trades in oil futures markets preceded major Iran war announcements—each tied to reporting by Axios.

On March 23, approximately $500–580 million in shorts were placed 15 minutes before Trump announced he was postponing strikes on Iran. Oil dropped.

On April 7, roughly $950–960 million in shorts were placed hours before Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran. Oil fell around 15 percent.

On April 17, around $760 million in shorts were placed 20 minutes before Iran's foreign minister announced the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Oil dropped.

On April 21, approximately $430 million in shorts were placed 15 minutes before Trump extended the ceasefire. Oil dropped again.

On May 6, nearly $920 million to $1.7 billion in crude oil shorts were placed approximately 70 minutes before an Axios scoop claimed the U.S. and Iran were near a "14-point agreement." Oil dropped 12 percent. Traders made an estimated $125 million. Iran called the report "the Americans' wish list."

Previously, a senior Iranian official told investigative outlet Drop Site News that Tehran privately warned JD Vance during Switzerland talks that Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff were "abusing" negotiations—"more interested in exploiting insider knowledge to profit in financial markets than reaching a deal."
